Lead Capture & Routing Services: Forms to CRM

Lead capture and routing for every genuine inquiry with a tested handover to your CRM, a named owner and a backup plan.

We'll reply with a written proposal: the work, what we need from you and an estimated timeline.

Why inquiries get lost

What can go wrong after someone presses "submit"

A "thank you" message can hide wrong details, a CRM that refused to save the record, the wrong person in charge, a missed alert or a failure that nobody is watching.

  • The form says "thank you", but the CRM has nothing

The visitor's screen can confirm the request before the receiving system has accepted the record, so the buyer thinks it worked while the inquiry is missing on your side.

  • Every form sent is counted as a lead

Wrong details, spam, duplicates, records the CRM refused to save and test entries can push totals up and hide how many usable leads actually reached your team.

  • Duplicate rules overwrite the wrong record

Email addresses, phone numbers, company web domains and IDs from other tools behave differently in each source and record type, so a guessed match can split one buyer into two records or merge two different people into one.

  • Routing rules clash or find nobody to send the lead to

Overlapping sales regions, staff who have left, full queues and no default owner can send an inquiry to the wrong person or leave it with nobody.

  • Giving someone a lead is mistaken for replying to it

A CRM can name an owner for the lead even when that person can't open it, is away, misses the alert or never picks the inquiry up.

  • Nobody is in charge of fixing failures safely

Time-outs, errors from outside tools and half-saved records can sit unseen in system logs, while trying again by hand risks duplicate records, messages or sales tasks.

What you can hire us to do

The seven parts of our lead capture and routing service

Hire Softscotch to connect the places people contact you (named in your proposal) to the system that stores their details and the person who should reply, and to test that it works. We can decide which details to collect and how to record consent (the person's permission), add checks on the server (the computer that receives the form) and spam blocks, decide what to do with duplicates, create or update records in your CRM (customer database), send each inquiry to the right person in a set order, send alerts, show failures and check the live setup. Your proposal names the first route we will test, the accounts and decisions we need, outside costs, a realistic timeline and the work that stays with your page, ads, automation or sales teams.

Your written proposal names the lead sources, form fields, the system that receives leads, the rules for who gets each lead, alerts, tests, monitoring and the first live route included in your fee.

Review of your lead sources and a plan for the first route

We map the named forms, chat, calls, bookings, lead forms built into ad platforms, imports or API connections (secure links between software), then confirm the first route we will test, owners, costs, what it depends on and what's not included.

Rules for form details, consent and source data

We agree required fields, allowed answers, instructions for customers, how consent is recorded, details about where the lead came from, limits on sensitive data, how long data is kept and what you need to approve.

Server checks and spam blocks

We set up the included final checks on the server, limits on repeated sends or "prove you're human" tests, safely stored passwords and keys, clear messages for visitors and a way to try again that everyone can use.

Duplicate rules and CRM handover

We decide the order for matching existing records and whether to create a new one, update one, link records or send it for review, then map the accepted details to the right CRM records and fields.

Routing in a set order, alerts and backups

We set up the rules your tools support for sales region, who qualifies, queues, taking turns, capacity, availability, a default owner, alerts and escalation (passing it up if nobody acts), all in a clear order.

Failure tests, monitoring and recovery

We test typical wrong entries, duplicates, spam, time-outs, an outside tool being down, no owner found and retries, then make unresolved failures visible to named people on your team.

Approved launch, live check and handover

We switch on the agreed route with your permission, check what actually happens on the live system, fix launch problems and assign who looks after monitoring, problems, privacy and upkeep.

{}

Reports on leads and reply times

We set up a simple report showing how many leads arrived from each source, who each one went to, how quickly someone replied and which ones were never followed up, so you can spot gaps before good inquiries go cold.

Why Softscotch

Why our work follows each inquiry past the form

What the server decided, what happened with duplicates, the CRM record, who owns the lead, the alert, what happens on failure and what happened later in the sale can each be checked on their own.

The first route we test is named early

The opening plan states which lead source, receiving system, path to the owner, outside costs and dependencies will be proven first.

What the visitor sees and what the server decides stay separate

A helpful form message guides the person, while the server makes and records the final decision to accept or reject the request.

Duplicate choices are written down

Each included lead source and CRM record type has named matching details, a matching order, a create-or-update rule and a path for unclear cases.

Routing takes real staff capacity into account

Rule order, who can take leads, calendars, workload, backups, alerts and handing leads to someone else are checked together, instead of assuming that filling in an owner field is enough.

Failures stay visible and can be fixed

Records the CRM refused, errors from outside tools, missed alerts and leads with no owner go into a named work list with safe steps to try again and resolve them.

Sales results are not guessed from form counts

Reports keep form attempts, accepted records, replies, bookings, lead quality checks, sales opportunities and revenue separate, and say where data is missing.

What the work covers

36 decisions behind a lead route you can rely on

The work can cover whether your lead sources are ready, form fields, consent, checking entries, handling duplicates, CRM records, sending leads to the right person, alerts, failures, reports and who looks after it all afterward.

Fit, lead sources and results
Included lead sourcesList the exact forms, chat tools, phone lines, booking tools, lead forms built into ad platforms, imports and API connections covered by the proposal.
Proof of current lost and late leadsFollow recent real examples from the customer's action to the receiving system, owner, alert and reply, so the first fixes target problems we have actually seen.
What counts as an accepted inquiryAgree which required details and server checks must pass before a request is counted as accepted.
Later stages of the saleDefine reply, booking, lead quality, accepted sales opportunity, sale and revenue, but only where the named systems can actually provide that data.
Accounts and plans ready to goConfirm subscriptions, user seats, permissions, fields, workflows, phone services, limits, test and live setups and who can approve going live.
Map of risks and responsibilitiesName the owners for privacy, consent, sensitive data, security, accessibility, sales capacity, problems and the final go-live decision.
Form details, consent and source data
Asking for details over time (progressive profiling)Collect only the approved details needed for this request and for the receiving system to decide what to do with it.
Format rules for each fieldDefine allowed answers, length, formatting, how entries are tidied into a standard form and how unexpected input is handled safely.
Proof of consentKeep the approved purpose, the version of the privacy notice shown, permission for each channel (such as email or text), the time and the source, without treating one tick box as permission for every use.
Campaign and source detailsPass only approved details about where the lead came from through the handover, and say where browser, privacy or platform limits mean some of these details will be missing.
Matching people and CRM records
Lead details and handover rulesChoose the matching details for each included lead source and CRM record type, instead of assuming an email, phone number or web domain always belongs to just one person.
Order for handling duplicatesSet the order for looking up, creating, updating, linking, reviewing and rejecting records, including what happens when the details disagree.
Mapping to CRM recordsMap the accepted details to the right contact, lead, company, deal, ticket or custom record type that your own system supports.
Review of unclear recordsSend possible wrong matches, risky merges and records with missing matching details to a named person to decide.
Checking entries and blocking abuse
Clear reasons and messages on the formExplain why each piece of information is needed, set honest expectations for the next step, and keep field instructions, error, success and "not available" messages clear.
Server checks before acceptingRepeat the final checks on the server before any data is saved or any later actions, such as alerts or tasks, are started.
Stopping spam and fake leadsLayer suitable checks, such as limits on repeated sends, sender reputation, hidden fields that only bots fill in or "prove you're human" tests, and review genuine people wrongly blocked, rather than relying on one add-on.
Error recovery that everyone can useKeep labels, cursor position, error text, status messages and a practical way to try again or get in touch usable when something fails.
Sending leads to the right person and alerts
Routing rules in a set orderCheck sales region, product, language, customer type and other approved criteria in a written order, where the first rule that matches wins.
Capacity and availabilityTake into account who can take leads, schedules, holidays, workload, absence and the reassignment rules your platform supports.
Backup and review queuesChoose a safe default for when no rule matches, rules clash, details are missing or no owner is available, instead of quietly throwing the record away.
Alerts for owners and respondersSend the needed details to people who can open and act on the record, with clear rules for duplicate alerts, failed alerts and confirming the alert was seen.
Failures, tests and going live
Safe retriesGive each request a fixed reference number and check for repeat actions, so trying again doesn't create duplicate records, messages or tasks.
Work list for problemsShow failed saves, leads with no owner, alert errors and leads left too long, each with a reason, time, owner and next step.
Tests for normal cases and failuresCheck correct, wrong, duplicate, spam, time-out, out-of-hours, outside-tool-down, no-match, alert and resend cases.
Checking the live systemAfter approval, follow typical live lead sources all the way through to the CRM record, owner, alert and problem list we actually see.
Reports and business use
From attempt to accepted leadSeparate attempts on the page or source from rejections in the browser, rejections by the server, spam, duplicates, outside-tool failures and accepted records.
Duplicates and spam reportShow how records were matched, possible wrong merges, review decisions, blocked abuse and worries about genuine people being blocked.
Speed-to-lead: how fast you replyReview the route, owner, alert, confirmation that it was seen and the first human reply, alongside working hours, capacity, whether you reached the person, lead quality and value where available.
Keeping sales stages separateKeep bookings, lead quality checks, accepted sales opportunities, sales and revenue separate from the "conversion" labels ad platforms use.
Feedback on lead qualityGive page and campaign owners useful reasons why leads were rejected and what happened to them, without presenting normal source tracking as proof of cause and effect.
Running it and making changes
Who watches for problemsName who watches for failures, delays, leads with no owner, alert errors and mismatches between your systems after launch.
Calendars and escalationWrite down working hours, time zones, holidays, when the reply clock starts, when it pauses, what happens when a target is missed and who to escalate to.
Access and sensitive dataLimit logins, who can see which fields, system logs, call recordings and data exports to approved people and purposes.
Data storage and privacy requestsApply your approved instructions for correcting, blocking, deleting, consent changes and how long data is kept, across all included systems.
Changes and upkeep handoverRecord account owners, versions, tests, problems, open risks, upcoming renewals and how future changes get approved and by whom.

Use tools your team can access and run

Your proposal names the actual CRM, form, chat, phone, automation, monitoring and data tools, the plans you need, permissions, who owns each one, usage costs and any known limits.

Before you approve going live

Seven checks of the real path your inquiries take

Each check shows what we looked at, what the result means, what limits remain and who is responsible for the next decision or fix.

Check 01 · Included lead sources

Lead sources and the first route

We confirm which forms, chat, calls, bookings, lead forms built into ad platforms, imports or API connections are part of the first route we test.

You get a dated map of your lead sources showing what's included and excluded, account owners, gaps we found and the first route chosen for setup.

List of sources includedRecord the exact page, phone number, tool, ad platform form, import or API connection included, and where its live and test versions are.
A real example traceFollow a recent, typical inquiry from the customer's action through each system and compare it with what should have happened.
Current owner ownerName who controls the lead source, the receiving connection, the receiving account, the data fields, the launch window and day-to-day replies.
Details sent fieldsList visible, hidden and calculated details, including where the lead came from, times, proof of consent and any sensitive information.
Gaps we found problemFind where data is rejected, delayed, changed, duplicated, left without an owner or missing from the record your team works from today.
What's in and out scopeSeparate the included routing work from page design, ads, follow-up emails, sales replies and any lead source that needs a separate proposal.
Check 02 · Details and consent

Review of data, permission and duplicate rules

We decide what each request needs, what can be stored, how records are matched and which unclear cases need a person to decide.

The approved list names every included field, why it's collected, allowed answers, where it is saved, proof of permission, who decides how long it's kept and what happens with duplicates.

Why each field is needed purposeLink each detail you ask for to the current inquiry, routing or reporting need, and remove any data that has no approved use.
Allowed answers rulesSet whether each field is required, its format, length, allowed choices, how it is tidied into a standard form and the instructions customers see.
Consent record consentKeep the approved privacy notice version, the service purpose, optional permissions for each channel, the time and the source, each stored separately.
Matching order matchChoose matching details for each source and record type, then state which lookup runs first and what a confirmed match is allowed to update.
Unclear match reviewSend clashing details, possible wrong merges and missing matching details to a named review path instead of guessing.
Who approves approvalRecord who signs off on collecting as little data as possible, privacy, how long data is kept, field changes and the create, update, link or reject decisions.
Check 03 · Checking entries

Review of server checks and spam blocks

We check what the visitor sees and the server's final decision for correct, wrong, abusive and "tool not available" cases.

Passing a browser check or a "prove you're human" test doesn't count as an accepted lead until the server and the receiving system return the agreed result.

“
Messages for customers feedbackConfirm that labels, instructions, error, success and "not available" messages are accurate, easy to understand and don't wipe out what the person already typed.
The server's decision serverConfirm that the server repeats the checks on required fields, format, allowed answers, permission and the request itself before any later actions start.
Layers of spam protection abuseTest the chosen limits on repeated sends, sender reputation checks, hidden fields or "prove you're human" tests, and note how often real people may be blocked and how spammers might get around them.
Expired human checks expiryTry "prove you're human" checks that have expired, been reused, gone missing or been sent twice, and give the visitor a practical way to try again.
Outside tool down outageConfirm that time-outs and a tool being unavailable don't reveal passwords or keys, don't say "success" too early and don't start unsafe duplicate actions.
Recovering with a keyboard accessComplete error and retry journeys using only a keyboard and with screen-reader status messages, including where the cursor moves and text descriptions.
Check 04 · CRM records

Review of the receiving system and duplicate actions

We confirm where an accepted request is saved, how an existing record is found and what happens when a record can't be saved.

We check the result against the actual record types, fields, permissions, plan and record-creation method in your CRM, not just the software's name.

Receiving record recordName the contact, lead, company, deal, ticket or custom record type that should receive each included type of inquiry.
Required fields mappingCheck what the receiving system requires, field types, allowed answers, default values, owner fields and permission limits.
Create or update decideTest the approved lookup and confirm when a new record is created, an existing record is updated or a review is opened.
Linked records linksConfirm that the expected person, company, sales opportunity, campaign or other related records are linked, without pretending to be sure when we're not.
Failed save riskForce a rejected or timed-out save and confirm that the reason, safely protected details and next step reach the problem list.
Cleaning up tests cleanupLabel test records and remove or keep them as you instruct, so testing doesn't spoil your reports or who owns the real leads.
Check 05 · Routing and alerts

Review of owners, backups and alerts

We test the rule order, who can take leads, real availability, safe defaults, alerts and confirmation that alerts were seen, using typical inquiries.

Having a name in the owner field passes only one part of this check. Access, alert delivery, availability and the next reply step are each checked separately.

Rule order orderRun overlapping sales region, product, language and customer rules to confirm that the written "first match wins" result happens the same way every time.
Who can take leads rosterCheck active users, queues, roles, permissions, capacity and exclusions against the current team list you have approved.
Working hours hoursCheck time zones, holidays, inquiries that arrive out of hours, when the reply clock starts, absence and handing leads to someone else for the included teams.
When no rule matches backupSend missing, clashing and unsupported details and confirm that a named default owner or review queue receives the record.
Alert delivery notifyConfirm the right person receives useful details through the agreed channel and can open the record they've been given.
Passing the lead on escalateTest what happens when an alert isn't confirmed, the owner is away or capacity is full, and confirm the lead is passed on as expected with a record of every step.
Check 06 · Failures and recovery

Review of problems, retries and reply timers

We make failures visible to your team and confirm that fixing them doesn't create duplicate records, messages, tasks or confused customers.

Every included failure that isn't fixed yet needs a reason, a time, a protected reference, a person responsible, a safe next step and a final resolution.

List of failures statesList every kind of failure: rejected entries, duplicates waiting for review, outside-tool errors, failed saves, no owner, failed alerts, late replies and half-finished actions.
Safe retries retryResend timed-out requests using the approved fixed reference number and confirm duplicate actions are prevented or clearly flagged.
Owner for each problem queueConfirm each type of failure reaches a work list that a named person can open, understand, fix and close.
Reply timer timerCheck the agreed start time, business calendar, confirmation that the lead was seen, pauses, missed targets and escalation times against real cases.
Matching up the numbers compareCompare attempts at each source, server results, CRM records, assigned owners and any unexplained differences for the test period.
When something serious breaks incidentRecord who investigates repeated lead loss, approves a temporary fix, tells people about the impact and authorizes rolling back or escalating to the outside tool's support team.
Check 07 · Live handover

Live check and review of how it will be run

After approval, we confirm the agreed live route behaves the way it did on the test setup, and hand over ongoing responsibility with any open limits clearly stated.

Launch records show what we saw at that moment. They can't promise outside tools will never go down, that no data is ever lost, that a person will reply or that you will win business.

Live source sourceSend an approved, typical test request from each agreed live source and record exactly what the customer sees on their screen.
Checking the CRM recordConfirm the expected record, approved fields, proof of consent, matching decision and linked records are all there.
Checking the owner handoverConfirm the route, owner, queue, backup, alert and the responder's access match the approved live rules.
Sensitive data privacyReview live system logs, web addresses, alerts, call recordings, exports and permissions for details that are unnecessary or visible to too many people.
Open risks limitsList unresolved limits with outside tools, accounts, data, accessibility, capacity and monitoring, each with an owner and a review date.
Who takes over runHand over logins, test records, monitoring, problem handling, approval of changes, privacy requests and upkeep tasks to named teams on your side.

What to expect

How long lead capture setup takes: from first plan to tested route and handover

The first six stages show a typical plan for the first route. It depends on having ready accounts, form fields, consent decisions, CRM access, rules for who gets leads, test data and approvals. The last six stages show our wider month-by-month plan and only apply if those extra services are included.

A lead path with a clear owner at every step, not just a form that sends

The included route keeps apart what the visitor sees, what the server accepted, the CRM record being created, who the lead was given to, the alert, the human reply and later business results.

The risk of using a different agency for everything
  • Quotes for connecting a form without naming everything that happens after it
  • Counts a "thank you" message on screen as a captured lead
  • Assumes one field is unique to each person across every source and CRM record type
  • Creates or overwrites records with no way to review unclear matches
  • Treats one tick box as permission for every kind of follow-up
  • Adds routing rules without testing their order or what happens when nothing matches
  • Stops checking once the CRM owner field has a name in it
  • Sends alerts without checking the person can open the lead or has seen the alert
  • Retries time-outs by hand and risks duplicate records or actions
  • Reports forms sent without showing rejected, unassigned or unresolved records
vs
Softscotch
  • Names the lead sources, the first route we test, costs, dependencies and teams not included
  • Keeps what the visitor sees, server rejections and acceptance by the receiving system separate
  • Sets matching details by source, how the record is created and which record type receives it
  • Clearly chooses to create, update, link, reject or send for human review
  • Keeps the service purpose, proof of the notice shown and optional channel choices separate
  • Tests rule order, who can take leads, availability, backups and escalation
  • Checks the route, owner, queue, alert and that the responder can open the lead
  • Checks alert delivery, useful details, what happens on failure and passing leads on
  • Uses fixed reference numbers for requests and checks for duplicate actions
  • Matches up attempts, accepted records, owners, replies and open problems

Ethical, transparent, always on

One accountable team, strictly white-hat (only methods search engines and platforms allow), no shortcuts and no surprises. Support whenever you need it.

One plan, full-stack access

One Softscotch plan gives you access to the full service stack, coordinated around your priorities.

You do not need a separate agency or retainer for every channel. Your plan can draw from search, paid media, web, ecommerce, outreach, automation, lead generation, messaging, content, creative and operations. The agreed scope sets what is active, in what order and at what capacity.

Pricing approach

One price for everything, not a stack of separate retainers.

You get one price for your whole marketing, not a separate retainer for every service. SEO, paid ads, your website, automations, cold email and newsletters, we run all of it as a single scope, so you get the most result for what you pay. Agencies sell each of these on its own, so the invoice climbs whether or not that line drives a single lead.

Bought separately, service by service

A different agency or retainer for each service. The bill stacks up fast, and keeps climbing whether or not each one moves a single lead.

All of it, one scope

We run your whole marketing as one engagement, so you get the most result for what you pay, not a pile of disconnected invoices.

Lead capture and routing FAQs

Straight answers about which lead sources are included, what you get first, timing, decisions you make, outside costs, how your CRM behaves, limits on duplicates, failures, measurement and who owns sales follow-up.

Filter
What is included in Softscotch lead capture and routing services?

The work can include the named forms, chat, calls, bookings, lead forms built into ad platforms, imports or API connections; rules for fields and proof of consent; server checks; spam blocks; duplicate decisions; creating or updating CRM records; routing in a set order; alerts; backups; recovering from failures; monitoring; tests; a simple report on leads and reply times; a check of the live system and a handover so your team can run it. Your proposal lists the exact lead sources, systems and owners.

Can you work with our existing forms, chat, calls and booking tools?

Usually, yes, if your current tools, plans, API connections, permissions and data handling support the agreed route. We inspect each lead source and how it sends data before we commit to the setup. Redesigning pages, setting up lead forms inside ad platforms, running your phone operations or replacing a tool are separate unless written into the scope.

What will we receive first?

We usually aim to deliver a signed intake and routing plan within 3 to 5 business days once we have what we need from you. It names the included lead sources, the first route we will test, the receiving system, fields, owners, outside costs, access needs, dependencies, review dates and what's not included.

How long does the first tested route take?

A typical plan checks readiness in week 1, approves field, duplicate and routing decisions in weeks 1 to 2, sets up the first route on a test system in weeks 2 to 4 and finishes typical normal and failure checks in weeks 4 to 6. Going live follows your approval. The number of lead sources, old data, custom code, phone systems, platform limits, security reviews, failed tests and slow decisions can make it take longer.

What do you need from our team?

We need the list of lead sources, examples of current failures, accounts, subscriptions, fields, CRM record types, consent and data storage decisions, matching rules, sales regions, who can take leads, working calendars, capacity, reply targets, test records, escalation contacts and permission to change live systems. Your named owners must review the business, data and launch decisions.

Which costs sit outside the Softscotch fee?

Unless they are listed in your proposal, outside costs can include CRM and automation plans, user seats, credits and usage; form, chat, booking and call tools; phone numbers, call minutes, recordings, text messages (SMS) and email; tools that add extra details to leads; bot blocking; hosting, queues, storage, logs and monitoring; analytics; moving old data; custom connections; specialist reviews; training; and staff to run things day to day.

Does this service include designing the form or landing page?

Not automatically. Our Landing Pages service covers the page plan, words, design, build and the form journey customers see. This service can define and set up the agreed checks, receiving system and routing work that happen after the form is sent. Your proposal states whether any changes to the page itself are included.

Which CRM and automation platforms do you support?

We work with the system you name after checking its current record types, matching details, workflows, plans, permissions, API connections, limits and launch process. A platform's name doesn't prove that a feature or action is available in your account, so your proposal records your actual setup and any upgrades you need.

What counts as an accepted lead?

The signed rules define the required fields, the final server checks, proof of consent, the spam decision, what happens with duplicates and a successful result from the receiving system. An attempted request, a button click, a "thank you" message on screen, passing a "prove you're human" test or a "conversion" label in an ad platform is not automatically an accepted CRM record.

Can you guarantee there will be no duplicate or wrongly merged records?

No. Email addresses, phone numbers, web domains and IDs from other tools aren't always unique to one person, and platforms behave differently depending on the source, record type and how the record was created. We define the matching order, create-or-update rules, review of unclear cases and safe retry checks, then report the known risks of duplicates and wrong matches.

How do you reduce spam and false leads?

We can layer server checks, limits on repeated sends, hidden fields that only bots fill in, sender reputation signals or a "prove you're human" service where it makes sense, then test expired checks, reused checks, tool failures and real people being wrongly blocked. No check proves someone really wants to buy or stops every abusive request, and genuine visitors still need a way to recover that everyone can use.

Do you decide our consent, privacy or retention requirements?

No. Your qualified owners approve the legal reason for using data, privacy notices, the service purpose, optional contact choices, sensitive fields, suppliers, how long data is kept (retention) and privacy requests. We set up the choices you approve and the fields that prove them. We don't give legal advice or certify that you are compliant.

Can you set up territory, queue or round-robin routing?

Yes, where the named platform supports the approved rules. Round-robin means leads are shared out in turn across a team. We write down which rules come first, who can take leads, queues, working calendars, capacity, availability, backups, what happens when nothing matches, alerts, confirming alerts were seen and passing leads on. Your sales operations team owns the team list and day-to-day decisions.

Does owner assignment guarantee a fast response or meeting?

No. We can set up and test how leads are assigned, alerts to responders, reply timers, escalation and reporting. Whether people are available, can open the lead, have time, confirm the alert, reach the customer, find them a good fit and get a meeting accepted depends on your team and your customers.

What happens if the CRM, telephony or automation provider is unavailable?

The agreed design sets out the customer message, the time-out, a protected error record, the person who owns the problem and a safe retry or manual route for the failures we test. Outages at outside tools and every way of losing data can't be ruled out completely, so your proposal states monitoring, backups, steps for serious problems and the risks that remain, without promising zero data loss.

Does this service qualify leads or improve lead quality?

It can reject wrong or abusive entries, handle known duplicates and route approved fields. Deciding whether a lead is a good sales fit follows your own definition and sales process unless that is scoped separately. Feedback on what happened to leads later can improve pages, campaigns and rules, but a routing system can't create demand, make leads a better fit or add sales capacity.

How will we measure the handoff?

We keep apart attempts, server results, spam and duplicate decisions, saves in the receiving system, assignments, alerts, replies and any later results that are available. We state definitions, access, delays and where data can't be joined up. A conversion that an ad platform credits to itself doesn't prove real value, and an accepted record doesn't prove a reply, a sale or revenue.

How is lead capture and routing priced?

Pricing depends on the included lead sources, fields, receiving record types, duplicate rules, how complex the routing is, platforms, custom connections, phone systems, test and live setups, moving old data, tests, monitoring and ongoing support. Before work begins, your proposal separates the Softscotch fee from current outside tool plans, usage and specialist costs.
