Partner Program

Refer qualified work or add delivery capacity.

Two ways for agencies, freelancers, consultants and business operators to work with us: an open referral partnership, where you introduce clients to us, or white-label delivery, where we do agreed work under your brand. Before any introduction or client work, a signed agreement confirms who qualifies, how referrals are credited to you (attribution), fees, confidentiality, who owns the client, payment, data access and how the partnership can end.

Two ways to partner

Pick the one that fits your model.
Simplest to start
Track A · Referral
Make a qualified, recorded introduction.

You introduce a potential client, with their permission. We confirm whether they qualify and record that the introduction came from you (attribution). We handle the sale and the work only if the client signs directly with Softscotch. How your commission works is agreed before the introduction.

Written commission termsThe partner agreement states your commission rate, which revenue counts, any deductions, how long it lasts, currency, taxes and when you get paid.
Recorded credit periodBefore we accept a lead, we confirm in writing whether we already know the contact, and how long the introduction stays credited to you (the attribution window).
Responsibilities are explicitThe potential client is told who sells, who signs the contract, who sends invoices, who controls their data and who does the work.
Payment details agreedCurrency, payment method, any invoice or tax paperwork needed, and bank fees are confirmed before you start.

Track B · White-label
We do agreed work under your brand.

You keep the client relationship while Softscotch does the approved work behind the scenes. The agreement sets out what is included, what the client is told, who is responsible for client data, how your brand is used, approvals, how problems are escalated, pricing and handover.

Trade price based on the workYour rate depends on our available time, how complex and risky the work is, the number of meetings, reporting, revision rounds and outside costs.
Agreed brand treatmentSuitable reports and client-facing files can use your approved template. Rules on data sources and credit are written down.
Confidentiality and disclosureAn NDA (non-disclosure agreement) may apply. But it cannot override the law, platform rules, privacy notices, or a client's contract right to know who handles its data.
Choose the servicesWe confirm fit and available capacity separately for SEO, paid ads, customer emails and texts, websites, creative, analytics and automation.

Who this is built for

If one of these describes you, we should talk.
Web design and dev agencies
You build the website. We help bring visitors, guide them toward buying and turn more of them into customers. White-label fits best.
Branding and creative studios
You handle identity. Your clients keep asking who does the SEO and ads. Now you have an answer.
Freelancers and solo consultants
Send the work you can't take on and keep the relationship. You can earn a commission on the terms set in your partner agreement.
Specialist agencies
SEO-only, ads-only or email-only agencies that need to offer a full range of services to bigger clients without hiring.
Business coaches and operators
Your portfolio companies need marketing. You introduce, we deliver, you stay focused on coaching.
Accountants, lawyers, ops consultants
Your small and mid-sized business clients are losing sleep over marketing. A good introduction can help them and earn you a commission under a clear written agreement.

Side-by-side comparison

The operating differences. Commercial terms come from the signed agreement, not this summary.
What you want to know
Referral Partner
White-label Partner
How you make money
The commission basis and duration stated in the accepted referral agreement.
The difference between our agreed trade price and the price you charge your client, subject to the agreement.
Who owns the client
Softscotch contracts directly with the client after an accepted introduction.
You hold the main client contract. Who does what, and who is responsible for client data, are set out separately.
Who the client talks to
Us, directly. They know Softscotch is delivering.
You, unless a technical, legal, platform, or client requirement calls for direct participation or disclosure.
Work involved after the intro
Usually just the introduction and passing on useful background. Any exceptions are agreed before the client is accepted.
You manage the client relationship, account meetings, and approvals. We deliver the work.
Minimum commitment
No public minimum; acceptance is based on fit and the current partner agreement.
Capacity and any volume terms are quoted for the expected active workload.
Setup time
After background checks, a check that no one else already has a claim on the client, and a signed partner agreement.
After scope, capacity, confidentiality, branding, data, access, approval, and escalation requirements are agreed.
Payout schedule
Set in the referral agreement. Paid only after the client's qualifying payment has cleared.
Set in the delivery agreement, including deposits, payment terms, taxes, outside costs passed on at cost, and when work can be paused for non-payment.
Risk on your side
Reputational. We have to deliver well for your introduction to feel safe next time.
Cash flow. You pay us regardless of when your client pays you. Pricing is set with that in mind.

How it works after you apply

From your first email to a working agreement that both teams can check.
Step 1
Apply by email
Send a short note about your audience, what you sell, and which track interests you. Two paragraphs is enough.
Step 2
30-minute call
We talk through fit, any conflicts, the clients you want to reach, what may be claimed in sales, pricing, what we will and won't deliver, data handling, reporting and how problems are escalated.
Step 3
Sign and onboard
Sign the partner agreement and any data or confidentiality terms. You may share our approved sales materials, but only as they are, with their supporting proof and usage limits intact.
Step 4
First accepted opportunity
Before any client work begins, we record the referral or you approve a white-label statement of work (a document listing the work, timing and price). Billing and payouts follow the signed terms.

What partners get

Support may vary by partner level, our available capacity and your agreement.
Partner pack
Approved service summaries, questions to help you size up a client's needs, case materials that only make claims we can back up, and brand rules. Editable source files are provided only where licensed and agreed.
Dedicated partner channel
An agreed way to reach us about planning work, delivery, urgent problems and pricing questions, with reply times written into the agreement.
Commission record
A written record of your referrals or delivered work, showing accepted clients, payments that count, adjustments, invoices and payout status.
Co-pitch support
For larger deals, a Softscotch lead can join your sales call as a delivery partner, or stay in the background on Slack to help you plan the work during the call.
Volume-based trade rates
White-label only. Any reserved capacity or volume pricing is quoted based on the expected amount of work and its risk.
First-look access
Partners may be invited to try new services, tools or materials before everyone else. This is not guaranteed.

Partner FAQs

The fine print before you commit.
Is there a fee to join the partner program?

There is no fee to apply. Any later cost, deposit, software, payment-processing charge or commitment to reserve our time must appear in the written agreement or statement of work before you accept it.

How long does the referral commission keep paying?

The agreement sets the rate, which collected revenue counts, when commission starts and stops, exclusions, refunds, taxes, disputes and what happens if the agreement ends. Nothing on this page promises lifetime or ongoing monthly commission.

What if my referral talks to you, but signs up months later?

We record an accepted introduction in writing, with the period it stays credited to you (the attribution window). If we were already talking to the client, another partner also referred them, or a past contact comes back, the agreement decides who gets credit before any commission is assumed.

Can I do both referral and white-label at the same time?

Possibly. Each client must be assigned to one track before work begins. Conflicts, what the client is told, data access, billing and credit are recorded separately for each.

How does white-label pricing actually work?

Softscotch quotes you a price for the agreed work. You decide what to charge your client, within the law, any duty to tell the client who does the work, and your contract. Our quote reflects complexity, meetings, revisions, risk, available capacity, software, ad spend, production, taxes and outside costs passed on at cost. There is no standard public discount.

Will my white-label clients ever find out Softscotch is behind it?

We follow the agreed confidentiality and brand rules, but neither of us should promise the client will never know. The law, privacy notices, platform identity checks, security reviews, rules on naming subcontractors, account ownership or the client's contract may require Softscotch to be named.

What stops me from poaching the Softscotch team after onboarding them to my client?

Any no-poaching rule (a non-solicitation term), including how long it lasts, where it applies, what happens if it is broken and any allowed way to hire, must be in the signed agreement and legally enforceable where you operate. This page does not create that rule.

What if a referral I send is already in your CRM (our customer database)?

We check whether we already know the contact and tell you whether the introduction is accepted, rejected or needs proof. Past or current sales conversations, duplicate referrals and returning contacts are handled under our written policy on who gets credit.

Can I refer clients in industries you don't serve?

Ask before making the introduction. We check whether the work is legal, allowed by ad platforms, supported by evidence and safe for the audience, how heavily the industry is regulated, any conflicts, whether we can do the work well and our current capacity. An industry not listed here is not automatically accepted.

What happens if the partnership doesn't work out?

The agreement sets the notice period, how current clients continue to be served, removal of data and access, payment, commissions, help with the handover, confidentiality and any duties that continue after it ends. Protecting clients and a smooth handover come first.

Do you do co-branded webinars, content, or events with partners?

Sometimes, if the audience fits and claims are backed by evidence, with consent, brand approval, accessibility, recording rights, privacy and a written promotion plan in place. It is not an automatic partner benefit.

How do I track my earnings?

Accepted referrals and payments are recorded in an agreed record or statement. It shows status, the collected revenue that counts, adjustments, invoices and upcoming payouts, without showing any other client's confidential information.
