AI-generated Ad Video Services

AI-generated video ad services need checked facts, not just faster output.

We'll reply with a written proposal: the work, what we need from you and an estimated timeline.

Where AI video production goes wrong

A convincing AI clip can still show your product wrongly, misuse a person or fail on the platform where it runs.

AI video adds new risks to normal video production: how real people are shown, product accuracy, rights, disclosure and things changing from one moment to the next. We agree the message, proof, permissions and launch rules before creating videos in large numbers.

  • AI is used before anyone checks whether the shot suits it

Teams use AI where real footage, a 3D product image, motion graphics or normal editing would be more truthful, easier to control or cheaper.

  • The AI tool is given incomplete facts

Products, prices, claims, packaging, people, rights and landing pages are missing, out of date or mixed into the creative instructions.

  • A polished clip hides faults that show up in motion

Faces, hands and bodies, text, objects, reflections, product details, physics, voices and lip movements change or warp partway through scenes.

  • AI people suggest real experience they don't have

An AI avatar (a digital presenter) or a copied voice can look like a real customer, creator, employee or expert without real experience, permission or disclosure.

  • One main video is forced into every ad placement

Cropping, on-screen text, captions, safe zones (areas not covered by app buttons), length, AI labels and how platforms process the file are not checked in the live app.

  • Lots of versions replace real learning

Openings, scenes, voices, offers, formats and audiences all change at once, so a winning ad doesn't show what actually helped.

What you can hire us to do

Seven areas of AI video ad work, from approved source material to videos ready for each ad platform.

AI-generated video ads use AI tools to create scenes, voices or whole clips for your ads. Softscotch helps you produce more useful video ad ideas without treating whatever the AI produces as a finished ad. You get an approved script and storyboard (a shot-by-shot sketch of the video), a written record of your sources and rights, sample videos edited by real people, final files ready for each ad placement and a clear record of what was generated, checked and released.

Your proposal sets out the campaigns, tools, how many shots and versions, formats, languages, review rounds and how often we deliver. Each area of work produces something you can use, with a clear note of the rights or approvals it depends on.

Is AI right for each shot, and checking the true facts

We decide which shots should be real footage, licensed, 3D-rendered, designed, AI-assisted or fully AI-generated, and gather the current facts on your product, offer, claims, brand and landing page.

Ideas, scripts and shot plans

We turn the customer idea we want to test, the proof and the action we want into timed scripts, storyboards, shot details, the parts that can change, backup plans and how AI use will be disclosed.

Instructions, reference images and AI generation

We keep versions of the instructions (prompts), things the AI must avoid, the first and last frames, reference images, camera and sound direction, tool settings, every option the AI produced and why rejected ones were turned down.

{}

Editing by real people, audio, captions and translation

We put together approved shots, motion graphics and real footage; produce voice and audio we have permission to use; create easy-to-read captions; and build checked versions for each language and format.

Checks on products, people, rights and changes across frames

We check source facts, permissions, claims, faces, bodies, objects and products staying the same across shots, on-screen text, physics, audio, lip-sync, accessibility and harmful context.

Platform files, AI labels and origin records

We create files that fit each ad placement, add any required AI labels or disclosures, record whether Content Credentials (a tamper-evident record of how a file was made) or a watermark are present and check uploaded previews before launch.

Creative testing, reporting and upkeep

We tag each part of each video with an ID, use those IDs in controlled tests or in honest reports of what we saw, measure production and later business results, and keep tools, rights, products, policies and archives up to date.

Review rounds and your sign-off

We share the work at agreed stages, such as the script, the storyboard, a rough cut and the final video. We collect feedback from your named reviewers in one place and record your approval before anything is produced in bulk or goes live.

Why Softscotch

We link every AI-made scene to a source, a permission, a check before launch and a business question.

The work doesn't stop at typing instructions into an AI tool (prompting). Whether a shot suits AI, product accuracy, rights, tool settings, human edits, captions, disclosure, platform previews and proof of results all stay in one production record.

We choose how to make each shot, one by one

AI is only used where it offers a real advantage over filming, stock footage, 3D rendering, motion graphics or normal editing.

True facts stay separate from creative instructions

Products, offers, claims, people, permissions and landing pages each keep an official owner, versions, expiry dates and a rule that anything uncertain goes back for review.

Everything the AI makes stays traceable through to launch

Shot, AI tool, instructions, reference image, job, source, right, output, rejection, human edit, disclosure, final file and campaign IDs all stay linked.

Moving video gets checked as moving video

We review frames, full playback, audio, captions and transitions, rather than approving a clip from a thumbnail or one attractive still.

AI labels and origin records have limits, and we say so

Labels, Content Credentials and watermarks make AI use more transparent, but we never treat them as proof that what's shown or claimed is true.

More versions must help a decision

Versions built from swappable parts, and tests, change one part at a time where possible, while unclear results or tests too small to trust stay marked as not proven.

What the work can include

Choose the AI video checks your product, people, platforms and level of risk need.

These 36 parts cover creative direction, controlling sources, creating with AI, human editing, safe launches, testing and upkeep. More advanced automation and records of where content came from (provenance) are only added when the tools you choose, the risk and the number of videos justify them.

Strategy, whether AI suits it and planning the idea
Is AI video right for this use?Sort each need and shot into real footage, licensed, 3D-rendered, designed, AI-assisted or fully AI-made, and record the reason, the alternative and when to stop.
Audience, offer, proof and the creative idea to testLink the customer's problem, the opening hook, the promise, proof, objections, the action you want and how success will be measured, before production starts.
Storyboard and shot detailsSet the timing, subject, action, setting, camera, movement, audio, on-screen text, proof, transitions, source, backup plan and what counts as acceptable for each shot.
Planned disclosure and risk levelBefore generating, sort out which parts are AI-made, the people shown, any chance of misleading viewers, and the disclosure each country and platform needs.
List of current videos and production materialsMap usable footage, 3D images, designs, AI instructions, tools, edit projects, live ads, results and problems still open.
Limits, alternatives and decision recordRank limits on sources, rights, quality, platforms, timing, cost and approvals, with decisions to generate, film, design, edit, wait or say no.
Source data, rights and where things came from
Record of shots and claimsTrace every scene, spoken claim, on-screen text, source file, AI run, permission, human edit, disclosure and where it was released.
Pack of true facts on products, services and offersKeep reliable, current records of products, packaging, sizes, colors, prices, stock, claims, conditions, countries, dates and owners.
Register of rights to faces, voices and mediaSeparate the rights to use a face, voice, performance, source file, music, trademark and location, and how far each can be reused, when it expires and how it can be withdrawn.
Naming system for video partsMap the ID numbers for the idea, opening hook, proof, shot, product, AI tool, voice, format, language, country, file and platform.
How generation and editing are set up
Videos built from swappable partsCreate matching slots for the opening hook, proof, demonstration, answering doubts, offer and ending, without breaking the story, rights, length or the logic of a test.
Versions of instructions, references and settingsKeep versions of scripts, instructions, things to avoid, reference images, first and last frames, camera, audio, AI tool, seed (a number that helps repeat a result) and output rules.
Choosing AI tools and suppliersPick main and backup tools based on shot control, rules on showing people, how they use your uploads, terms, origin records, availability, cost, speed and common faults.
Running large batches and tracking each outputWhere it's worth it, keep job IDs, protection against running the same job twice, storage, retries, budget limits, errors, rejects, approvals and a holding area so nothing goes live before it's approved.
Production, audio and translation
Making AI scenes and combining shotsGenerate options, reject faulty ones and combine approved AI-made, real and designed elements in an edit put together by a person.
Voice, dialogue, music and sound effects you have permission to useCheck the script, who the voice belongs to, permission, pronunciation, licenses, separate audio tracks, the final mix and what the audio itself tells viewers.
Dubbing and lip-sync for other languagesAdapt scripts for each culture rather than just translating them, review claims and pronunciation for each country, match audio to mouth movements and get approval from a reviewer who speaks the language.
Works with sound on and sound offMake the value, proof, conditions and action clear both with sound and through captions timed to the speech and a clear visual layout.
Controls, safety and checks by people
Checks on AI-made media and rightsCheck each person's role, permission, source rights, how far AI may be used, disclosure, origin records and approval for each country, without treating a tool's built-in safeguards as legal clearance.
Checking products and claims on screenCheck product shape, color, packaging, logo, app screens, demonstrations, price, offer, text and any result the video suggests against the true facts.
Checks for changes across frames and realistic physicsCheck faces, bodies, objects, movement, collisions, camera, lighting, reflections, backgrounds and transitions through full playback and sample frames.
Review of claims, testimonials and harmful contentBlock made-up experiences, fake authority, misleading results, stereotypes, unsafe scenes and high-risk content unless an authorized specialist has approved it.
Ad placements, testing and checks before launch
Checks on format, safe zones and uploadsBuild current versions for each screen shape, length and file type, move key content clear of app buttons and check platform overlays, labels and processed previews.
Checking things stay the same across shotsCompare approved people, products, settings and start and end points across clips, and switch to a non-AI option where the AI can't keep things consistent.
Controlled creative testsSet one thing to change, a control and a test version, fixed settings, one main measure, how long it runs, safety limits, what could spoil the result and when to call it unclear.
Video and landing page matchCheck the product, price, offer, conditions, call to action (CTA), country, final web address, redirects, stock and the path to purchase after the click.
Measurement, costs and learning
Where viewers stop watchingLook at early and completed views for each exact video and placement, then link drop-off points to the shots and parts used, without claiming that they caused it.
From video to business resultsKeep ad delivery, attention, clicks, what people do on the landing page, good-quality actions and approved revenue or sales opportunities separate, with clear definitions and coverage.
Production costs per videoMeasure AI attempts, tool credits, render and review time, editing, licenses, revisions and the cost per approved shot or released version.
Launch quality and exceptions scorecardReport how well sources, rights, claims, captions, safe zones, disclosure, origin records and human sign-off were covered, plus faults found and how long fixes took.
How sure we are about tests, and the limitsKeep the idea being tested, what changed, sample size, balance between groups, time period, the platform's confidence level, other factors that could explain results, unclear results and the next production decision.
Rules, upkeep and keeping things running
Human sign-off and the ability to pull videosName the reviewers, fix faults, lock versions, record exceptions, publish the list of campaign files and keep a way to withdraw any video.
Rules for AI labels and origin recordsCheck supported Content Credentials or watermarks, set up platform AI labels and keep visible disclosure in place wherever the video is shared, where required.
Re-checks when tools, rules or facts changeRecheck sample shots and live videos whenever AI tools, suppliers, platform rules, rights, products, claims, offers or landing pages change.
Archive, access and leaving a supplierStore editable source files, instructions, settings, approvals and final masters; limit access; set how long files are kept and when they're deleted; export everything and test the handover.
Handling problems, takedowns and fixesHandle problems with identity, rights, claims, safety, origin records, products and platforms, with how serious they are, proof, owners, deadlines and safeguards afterwards.
Research and production tools

AI tools create options. Our production process decides what is good enough to release.

Veo, Adobe Firefly, voice and dubbing tools, video editors, tools that check a file's origin record and ad platform previews each have different controls and limits. Naming these tools doesn't mean we have a partnership or certification with them, or that they're available everywhere.

What we examine

Our AI video ad review: seven checks that link the idea, approved sources, AI-made shots and the released ad.

Each check gives you an owner, tests the video must pass and the next decision. A lifelike look, a watermark or a strong view count never proves that a claim, a right or a business result is valid.

Check 01 · Decide what to generate with AI

Whether AI suits it, the customer idea to test and other ways to make it

We decide whether AI video is the right way to make the ad before any instructions are written or tool credits are spent.

An impressive AI demo doesn't prove that a product, person, proof requirement, schedule or campaign is actually suited to AI generation.

Customer customerAudience, buying decision, their problem and the action you want defined.
Idea to test ideaOpening hook, promise, proof, objection and how success is measured linked.
Shots routeReal footage, stock, 3D render, design, edit or AI route chosen for each shot.
Risk riskRisk level for people, product, claims, country and possible harm recorded.
Costs costExpected cost of AI generation, editing, review and other options set out.
Decision decideDecision to generate, try a sample, film, design, wait or say no signed off.
Check 02 · Agree the true facts

Products, claims, people, rights, source files and where they came from

We create the official facts and permissions that AI tools can't safely guess or work out on their own.

Having a photo, clip, voice recording or logo doesn't prove you have permission to reuse it with AI in every language, country, channel and time period.

Products productIDs, sizes, colors, packaging, price and stock up to date.
Claims claimEach statement, its proof, conditions, country and expiry date mapped.
People peopleIdentity, role, experience, qualifications and permission sorted.
Rights rightsWhat you may use of faces, voices, performances, media, music and trademarks kept on record.
Source files sourceSource files, reference images, instructions and AI inputs can be traced to where they came from.
Changes changeExpiry, withdrawn permission, removal and the videos affected can be traced.
Check 03 · Plan what we ask the AI to make

Script, storyboard, reference images, AI tool, settings and backup plans

We turn the idea into clear instructions for each shot and choose tools that suit the actual production problem.

Repeating the same instructions or seed number can give similar results, but it doesn't guarantee the same video once the AI tool or service changes.

Script scriptDialogue, on-screen text, proof, conditions and call to action approved.
Storyboard storyTiming, each shot's job, transitions and what must stay the same set out.
References referenceApproved images of the subject, product and style, plus first and last frames, prepared.
AI tool toolControls, how your uploads are used, rights, rules on showing people and availability reviewed.
Settings settingsInstructions, things to avoid, camera, audio and versions kept on record.
Backup plan backupReal footage, 3D render, design, edit or another AI tool named as a fallback.
Check 04 · Generate and put it together

AI jobs, rejected clips, editing in parts, audio and translation

AI-made clips become carefully managed raw material inside an editing process that is led by people.

The number of AI clips made is not what you're paying for; the useful result is an approved shot or a released version after editing and review.

Jobs jobAI tool, version, inputs, settings, output, errors and cost logged.
Options optionReasons for accepting, rejecting or regenerating each clip recorded.
Timeline timelineMatching parts, transitions, lengths and the parts that change kept under control.
Audio audioVoice, dialogue, music, effects, separate tracks and rights checked.
Language languageTranslation, pronunciation, lip-sync and review for each country completed.
Human edit editChoosing clips, framing, pacing, text style and final assembly done by people.
Check 05 · Check the video in motion

Product accuracy, changes across frames, people, audio, captions and accessibility

We review the whole video at full speed, frame by frame, with sound and without sound, before calling it ready to launch.

A lifelike look can make a wrong product detail, an impossible action or a made-up person more convincing to viewers, not more accurate.

Product productShape, pack, logo, text, how it works, price and offer match the true facts.
Consistency consistencyFaces, objects, clothing, setting and lighting stay the same where they should.
Motion motionBodies, physics, camera, reflections and transitions pass our checks.
People peopleRole, likeness, voice, experience and authority stay truthful.
Audio audioWords, pronunciation, timing, volume and approved sources pass our checks.
Access accessCaptions, important sounds, on-screen text, contrast and reading time pass our checks.
Check 06 · Launch with the right context

Formats, safe zones, AI labels, origin records and live previews

We build a version for each chosen placement and check the processed video inside the real platform app before launch.

Content Credentials, a watermark or a platform AI label give viewers context; none of them proves that the ad's claim or the event shown is true.

Format formatScreen shape, resolution, length, video format, file and audio all valid.
Safe zone safeSubject, product, text, captions, labels and call to action not covered by app buttons.
Disclosure labelAI disclosure for the country, the platform and inside the video approved and in place.
Origin record originContent Credentials or watermark status, and how edits can remove them, recorded.
Landing page landingProduct, offer, country and page all match the video.
Preview previewProcessed upload checked across the chosen devices and placements.
Check 07 · Learn and keep it up to date

Creative tests, results, production costs and long-term upkeep

We link the exact parts of each video to ad delivery and business data we can make sense of, then keep the whole system up to date as things change.

A high share of people watching to the end, or sales the platform credits to an ad, doesn't prove that AI caused the improvement, and a test that is too small may stay unclear.

Results resultDefinitions for attention, landing page visits, good-quality actions and value kept.

What changes

From scattered AI experiments to an approved creative direction and a finished set of video ads.

Before

The campaign needs more video ads, but decisions about each shot, the true facts, permissions and review rules are still scattered.

  • How to make each shot is unclearTeams haven't yet decided which moments need real footage, licensed stock, 3D rendering, motion graphics, AI help or full AI generation.
  • Proof and rights have gapsProduct details, claims, people, voices, source files, licenses, countries and expiry dates don't yet have approved owners.
  • Lots of output, no decision behind itIdeas, scenes, voices, offers and formats all change together, without a clear creative question or launch priority.
Changes

An approved creative direction becomes a sample set of videos, edited by people, with sources you can trace and a record of every check.

  • Every shot has a clear planThe storyboard names the source, how it will be made, the permission, risk, owner and backup plan for each planned moment.
  • AI generation and editing stay traceableThe team can link instructions, reference images, AI jobs, rejected clips, human changes, labels and final files.
  • The launch checks passProduct detail, people, motion, audio, captions, disclosure, safe zones and landing page match all pass review on sample videos.
After

Released versions have clear proof of quality, context for their results and a list of updates or fixes that someone owns.

  • Creative lessons stay easy to readRecords of each video's parts support controlled tests where possible, and clearly labeled reports of what we observed everywhere else.
  • Changes trigger fixesA major change to an AI tool, platform, product, claim or permission shows which live videos need review.
  • The next production decision has an ownerEditable source files, approvals and masters support a clear choice to refresh, replace, translate, pause or retire each group of videos.
Your type of business and what's at stake

Our AI-generated video ad services change with the product, proof, people shown, market and possible harm.

Retail, software companies, healthcare, finance, education, travel, local services and apps each need different facts, rules on what can be shown, expert approvals, formats and useful results.

Ecommerce

Ecommerce and retail brands

AI video can add lifestyle scenes and product variations, but product shape, pack text, color, price, stock and matching the landing page must be right before launch.

FocusProduct facts pack, scenes built from swappable parts, frame-by-frame product checks, offer and stock match
MeasureApproved product versions and good-quality shopping actions
Software

Software and SaaS (online software you subscribe to) teams

AI presenters and motion graphics can show how the software is used, while app screens, feature claims, which plans include what and free trial or demo paths must stay up to date.

FocusTrue facts about app screens, record of claims, designed screen overlays, script and landing page match
MeasureGood-quality trials, demos and customers who start using it
B2B

Business-to-business (B2B) services and complex solutions

Illustrated scenes can make hard problems easier to understand, but made-up customers, experts, rollouts, savings or results can never replace real proof.

FocusAudience idea to test, matching proof to claims, sorting who has real authority, reports for long sales cycles
MeasureGood-quality demand and lessons about sales opportunities
Local

Local businesses and businesses with several locations

Images of each location, staff roles, service areas, licenses, prices and how many inquiries you can handle need true facts for each branch, not generic AI-made proof.

FocusFacts pack for each location, rules for showing staff, local offers, booking and call match
MeasureReal local inquiries and demand each branch can handle
Healthcare

Healthcare, wellness and regulated care

AI-made people and demonstrations can suggest a diagnosis, treatment, a clinician's authority or patient results, so expert review of claims and possible harm is essential.

FocusSending medical claims for expert review, sorting people and their roles, accessibility, country and platform review
MeasureSuitable education for patients or customers, and good-quality actions
Finance

Financial services, insurance and fintech

Fake authority, earnings claims, approval promises, pressure to act fast and product terms can mislead quickly; country, license, risk and eligibility details must be stated clearly.

FocusReview of claims in a regulated industry, on-screen terms and risk notices, identity controls, landing page match
MeasureQualifying applications, consultations and well-informed actions
Education

Education, training and course businesses

Explainers led by an AI presenter can cover more lessons and languages, but the instructor's identity, qualifications, results, course content and enrollment terms must stay truthful.

FocusRules for scripts and sources, the instructor's role, captions, translation and enrollment match
MeasureGood-quality enrollments and interest in learning
Travel

Travel and hospitality brands

AI-made destinations and rooms can give guests the wrong idea when the season, amenities, view, availability or property details differ from reality.

FocusTrue property facts, clear limits on imagined scenes, offer and availability match, versions for each country
MeasureGood-quality bookings and accurate pictures of the destination
Real estate

Real estate, home and property services

AI-made room staging and neighborhood scenes must be clearly separated from the real condition, size, location, listings, agent claims and images of planned future work.

FocusSorting real property images from renders, disclosure, accurate listings, location and lead path checks
MeasureGood-quality property interest without showing anything falsely
Apps

Apps, games and digital products

AI scenes can show how an app is used or what a game world feels like, while gameplay, screens, rewards, pricing and the app store page must not be shown falsely.

FocusTrue facts about the app and gameplay, checks on screens and claims, format versions, app store match
MeasureGood-quality installs, trials and signs that people keep using it
Membership

Membership, community and creator businesses

AI presenter or dubbed content can reach more people, but a creator's likeness, voice, access levels, member results and ongoing terms need permission and up-to-date facts.

FocusHow far a likeness and voice may be used, translation, access levels and subscription match
MeasureQualifying members and lessons about long-term value
Consumer goods

Consumer packaged goods (CPG) and brands selling in many countries

Making lots of versions means rules for packaging, ingredients, how to use, serving sizes, claims, language and retailer pages matter more than how fast the AI can create.

FocusTrue facts on packs and claims, consistency with reference images, translation, retailer and stock match
MeasureApproved versions for each country and good-quality retail demand
Clear ownership

Softscotch produces and checks the agreed videos; your team keeps control of product facts, rights and final approval.

Your proposal states what we script, generate, edit, caption, export and check; which AI tools and ad platforms we depend on; and which claims, people, products, permissions and countries need your approval.

The connected growth engine

Ad Creative Strategy

Audience, offer, proof, objections, ideas and what to test decide what the video should say, before any AI generation begins.

Ad Video & Editing

Editing real footage, pacing, motion graphics, combining shots, color, audio, captions and delivery remain the related production skill done by people.

UGC-style Video Ads

Finding real creators, briefing them, their performance, permissions and natural-looking footage cover genuine creator and customer-style videos (UGC, user-generated content).

Conversion Tracking Services

Approved tracking events, stable campaign and video IDs, clear definitions of later results and data coverage support useful reports on how each video performs.

Landing Pages and CRO Services

Product and offer match, proof, accessibility, speed, forms, checkout and controlled page tests (CRO, conversion rate optimization) support what happens after the click.

Paid Media and Measurement Services

Platform tests, budget, ad delivery, credit for sales, tests that show cause and effect and decisions about where to spend sit outside the video production work.

One connected scope. AI-generated Ad Video Services is coordinated with the strategy, creative, experience, data and reporting it depends on, so responsibilities and handoffs stay visible in one written plan.

What to expect

See the first storyboard, a sample video and the things that affect delivery.

Once approved product facts, source files, rights and reviewers are ready, the first storyboard or sample video can often be delivered in three to five business days. Review rounds, tricky scenes where people handle the product, keeping a person looking the same across shots, translating into other languages and platform changes can push back the final files.

Our full growth plan (all services together), month by month

Month 1

Foundation and review

We review your whole website, where you rank and your competitors, agree how the site should be organized, and set up hosting, analytics (visitor tracking) and your GoHighLevel lead system. The first agreed pages start going live.

KPI pages live
Month 2

Build and launch

The site is built or rebuilt. Main, service and industry pages go live with on-page SEO, website labels and technical fixes. Your Google Business Profile is improved and lead follow-up automations are switched on.

KPI pages in Google
Month 3

Early rankings, paid ads start

More pages built from templates (programmatic pages) start going live, paid ads and email follow-ups are switched on for early leads, and Google adds your pages to its results as the first rankings usually appear.

KPI search terms ranking
Month 4

Momentum builds

Rankings often start climbing, visits from free search begin to rise, ad spending is tuned to the return it brings (ROAS, return on ad spend), and groups of related articles and links from other sites build your reputation with Google.

KPI visits from search
Month 5

Results start to show

Main search terms can move closer to page one, the first leads from free search often arrive, AI tools may begin to mention you, and testing improvements to your pages (CRO, conversion rate optimization) helps more visitors get in touch.

KPI leads from search
Month 6

Growth builds on itself

Pages that are working are protected and improved, template pages bring in visitors searching for very specific terms, and SEO, ads, email and automation work together to bring steadier leads and sales. Timing varies by market and competition, and no ranking is guaranteed.

How we compare

Get finished campaign videos with a clear record behind them, not a folder of raw AI output.

Softscotch links the creative idea being tested, the approved source, what may be shown, each AI run, the human edit, the platform file and the next production decision.

The risk of using a different agency for everything
  • Uses AI for every planned shot without comparing other ways to make it
  • Writes AI instructions from a website and scattered brand files
  • Chooses an AI tool because its demo looks good or it's popular
  • Approves AI output from thumbnails and one quick play-through
  • Uses AI avatars or copied voices without rules on roles and permission
  • Exports one vertical video and uses it in every placement
  • Treats a watermark or platform label as meeting every rule
  • Creates big batches where every creative element changes at once
  • Reports views, clicks or ROAS (return on ad spend) without production or data limits
  • Leaves AI tool changes, expired rights and source files unmanaged
vs
Softscotch
  • Chooses real footage, stock, 3D render, design, editing or AI for each shot
  • Signs off current products, claims, people, rights, countries and landing pages
  • Chooses tools by shot control, terms, data use, origin records, cost and backup options
  • Reviews frames, motion, products, people, text, audio and transitions
  • Labels each person as fictional, actor, customer, creator, employee or expert
  • Builds and previews formats, captions and disclosures that fit each placement
  • Keeps origin records, viewer labels and proof of claims separate
  • Uses IDs for each part and changes one thing at a time where testing is possible
  • Links approved videos to delivery, results, uncertainty and cost per video
  • Runs re-checks, fixes, archiving, access, file retention and handover

Ethical, transparent, always on

One accountable team, strictly white-hat (only methods search engines and platforms allow), no shortcuts and no surprises. Support whenever you need it.

One plan, full-stack access

One Softscotch plan gives you access to the full service stack, coordinated around your priorities.

You do not need a separate agency or retainer for every channel. Your plan can draw from search, paid media, web, ecommerce, outreach, automation, lead generation, messaging, content, creative and operations. The agreed scope sets what is active, in what order and at what capacity.

Pricing approach

One price for everything, not a stack of separate retainers.

You get one price for your whole marketing, not a separate retainer for every service. SEO, paid ads, your website, automations, cold email and newsletters, we run all of it as a single scope, so you get the most result for what you pay. Agencies sell each of these on its own, so the invoice climbs whether or not that line drives a single lead.

Bought separately, service by service

A different agency or retainer for each service. The bill stacks up fast, and keeps climbing whether or not each one moves a single lead.

All of it, one scope

We run your whole marketing as one engagement, so you get the most result for what you pay, not a pile of disconnected invoices.

Questions, answered

Decide whether AI-generated video ads suit this campaign and its level of risk.

Read about good uses for AI video, when filming is better, products, people, rights, AI labels, captions, formats, the first delivery, outside costs, who owns what and the results no producer can guarantee.

Filter
What is included in AI-generated video ad services?

The work can include checking whether AI suits each use and reviewing your sources, ideas and scripts, storyboards and shot planning, AI instructions and reference images, AI-made scenes, videos made with AI avatars or AI voices, human editing, audio, captions, translation, review rounds with your sign-off, checks on products and moving video, records of rights and disclosure, versions for each platform, upload previews, creative tests, reporting and upkeep. Your proposal chooses the tools, number of videos, countries, formats and how often we deliver.

When is an AI-generated video ad a good fit?

It can be useful for early ideas, made-up settings, motion scenes, product variations that can be shown truthfully, explainers led by an AI presenter, translated versions and test videos built from swappable parts, when filming or animation would be slower or less flexible. We decide shot by shot. Detailed hands-on demonstrations, real customer proof, sensitive situations involving people or products that must look exactly right may need real footage, 3D rendering, design or traditional production.

Can AI video replace filming, actors, animation or normal editing?

Not in every case. We compare AI generation with real footage, licensed stock, 3D product images, motion graphics, creator-made videos and editing real footage. AI clips still need people to choose shots, combine them, set the pace, add text, audio and captions and approve the result. We don't promise AI is faster or cheaper until we've measured the real shots, the failed attempts and the review work.

Which AI video tools do you use?

The tool depends on the shot, the controls needed, rules on showing people, how your uploads are handled, the terms for using what it creates, origin records, availability, quality, cost and speed. Veo, Adobe Firefly, voice or dubbing tools and other approved providers may be considered. Naming them doesn't mean we have a partnership or certification, that they give the same rights, that they'll always be available or that they suit every client and country.

How do you keep AI-generated products and demonstrations accurate?

We build an up-to-date facts pack covering product IDs, views from different angles, sizes, colors, packaging, logos, app screens, price, offer, stock, claims and limits. Reviewers check important frames and the full action against those facts. If an AI tool can't keep the product accurate, we use real footage, 3D rendering, designed overlays, combined shots or drop the shot, rather than treating AI output as proof.

Can you create AI actors, avatars, customers or experts?

Where suitable, we can plan made-up AI avatars or videos that use an actor's likeness with their permission, but we first work out what role viewers are likely to think that person has. We never present an AI person as a real customer, creator, employee, clinician, financial expert or celebrity without real experience, qualifications, exact permissions and approved disclosure. Your lawyer and brand owners make the final decision.

Can you clone a founder, employee or creator's voice?

Only when the chosen tool allows it and the person and your business have given valid permission for the exact scripts, countries, languages, channels and time period. A tool's identity check doesn't prove every right, and a cloned voice can say words the person never spoke. We keep script approval, the limits of the permission, settings, disclosure, expiry dates, how permission can be withdrawn and a backup without the cloned voice.

Who owns AI-generated video, and is it safe from copyright problems?

Rights depend on the source files, people, voices, music, the AI tool and supplier's terms, how much a person created, the country, contracts and how the video will be used. Some AI outputs may look similar to those made for other people, and writing instructions alone may not be enough to claim copyright. We keep records of sources and human edits, but we don't promise exclusive ownership, copyright registration, that rights can be enforced or legal clearance. Your lawyer approves how the videos are used.

Do AI-generated video ads need labels or disclosure?

It depends on the platform, country, how much of the video is AI-made or altered, the people shown and how it will be seen. TikTok requires advertisers to disclose AI-generated content in ads where its rules apply, Meta and Google have their own ways of labeling AI content, and in the EU the AI Act's Article 50 transparency rules have applied to covered uses since 2 August 2026. We record Content Credentials or watermark status and platform labels, while your lawyer approves the final approach.

Do Content Credentials or watermarks prove a video is true?

No. Depending on the tool and how the file has been edited, they can give tamper-evident or lasting signals about where a video came from or whether AI was used. They don't prove that a product works as shown, that a person really said something or that an ad claim is backed by proof. These signals can also be lost or removed, so a missing signal doesn't prove a video is genuine.

Do you include captions and sound-off versions?

Yes, where they're part of the agreed work. We create captions timed to the speech that include dialogue and important sounds, use designed on-screen text instead of trusting text made by AI, check language, timing, reading speed, contrast and safe zones, and make sure the value, conditions and action are clear without sound. Whether captions can be switched on and off or are burned into the video depends on where it runs and the platform.

Can you translate, dub and lip-sync AI video ads?

Yes, with some conditions. We adapt the message for each culture rather than translating word for word, and check local product and claim rules, pronunciation, tone, speaker and voice rights, on-screen text, captions, timing, lip movements, disclosure and the landing page with a qualified reviewer who speaks the language. Tool support and quality vary, and some countries or scripts are better re-recorded with real people.

Which ad platforms and video formats can you deliver?

We can prepare approved horizontal, square and vertical versions for chosen Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google and other ad placements. Exact screen shape, resolution, length, file type, safe zone, caption, on-screen text, call to action and AI label rules depend on the live placement. We check processed upload previews rather than assuming one file works everywhere.

How do you test different versions of AI-generated video ads?

We give each idea and each part a fixed ID and, where budget and the platform allow, compare a control and a test version that differ in just one planned way, with a main measure, run time and safety limits set in advance. A big batch where openings, scenes, offers and audiences all change is just observation, not a clean test. Results that only point in a direction, or are unclear, stay labeled that way.

Can you guarantee faster production, lower cost, ad approval, views, conversions or ROAS?

No. AI tool failures, how ready your sources and rights are, expert review, platform policies, ad delivery, customer demand and competitors are outside any agency's control. We are responsible for the agreed research, production, checks, launch and reporting, and we measure the time and cost per approved video, but we don't guarantee savings, ad approval, visitors, conversions (sales or leads), revenue or a proven lift in results.

How long does an AI video production cycle take?

A first round of work usually needs several weeks to prepare sources and rights, ideas, scripts, AI generation, editing, checks on people and products, audio, captions, languages, formats, your review and platform previews. Timing depends on how hard the shots are, failed attempts, tool access, expert approvals and how quickly you respond. Watching results and running controlled tests need extra time with ads running.

How much do AI-generated video ad services cost?

Pricing reflects the number of ideas, the type and number of shots, AI generation attempts, AI tool costs, work on sources and rights, editing, audio, captions, translations, formats, review of people and content in regulated industries, platform checks, tests, reporting and upkeep. The quote states its assumptions, included review rounds, supplier costs that may apply and what happens when a shot needs filming, 3D rendering or another way of making it.

What files and information do we receive, and what do you need from us?

The agreed handover can include approved main videos and versions, editable project files where licensed and included, scripts, storyboards, records of shots and sources, AI instructions and settings where they can be exported, captions, separate audio tracks, rights and approval records, launch file lists and reports. You provide the official facts on products and claims, people, permissions, brand files, system access and the final legal and launch decisions. An AI supplier's internal settings may not be transferable or repeatable.
