Social Media Content Creation Services

Give each social channel useful content with a clear job.

We'll reply with a written proposal: the work, what we need from you and an estimated timeline.

The hidden problems

Why posting more often doesn't give you useful social media content

When no one is sure what each channel is for, claims have no proof, ideas repeat, usage rights are missing and approvals are slow, you get a lot of activity but no clear message and no files your team can actually use.

  • The calendar starts without asking what your audience needs

Topics are picked by date or by what's trending, so posts don't answer a real question, handle a common doubt, show proof or point people to a clear next step.

  • Source material gets lost while content is being made

Claims, quotes, customer stories, product facts and usage rights are copied into drafts with no easy way to find the proof or the permission behind them.

  • One image is simply resized for every channel

Each platform's own format, caption, ad labels, links, safe areas (parts of the screen not covered by buttons), accessibility and audience are treated as small cosmetic changes.

  • Series keep repeating without learning

A familiar template keeps going out even when the opening line, the proof, the quality of replies or what people do afterwards shows that your audience is tired of it.

  • Comments are counted but not passed on

Questions, doubts, support requests, warning signs and useful customer wording never reach the right person to reply or feed into future content plans.

  • Reach is presented as real demand

Views and likes are added up without showing meaningful engagement, website visits, influence on sales, actual sales or the limits of what the numbers can prove.

Exactly what's included

What our social media content service includes

We turn the facts you approve about your business into social media posts people understand and your team can publish. Softscotch decides what each channel is for, picks the themes and formats, writes the agreed text, prepares the agreed images or videos, manages the review rounds and hands over files that are ready to post. Usage rights, ad labels and accessibility choices are written down so nothing is hidden.

Eight areas of work cover the overall direction, what each channel is for, content themes, the posting calendar, briefs (short written plans for each piece), the agreed text and visuals, versions for each platform, accessibility notes, review rounds and the final handover.

Checking your audience, channels and material

We list your audiences, their questions, your current posts, what each account is for, your source material, claims, usage rights, ad labels, the pages posts link to, comments and how results are measured today.

Content themes and recurring series

We define the recurring needs your content meets, the types of proof you'll use, the role each story plays, how one piece can become several, rules to keep ideas fresh and signs that a series should stop.

Proof packs and usage rights

Every brief comes with its facts, quotes, approvals, model releases, licenses, permissions, ad labels, expiry dates and the edits you are allowed to make.

Content made for each platform

We write opening lines, captions, text on images, alternative versions, calls to action (what we want people to do next) and the posting details for each agreed channel and format.

Review, accessibility and pre-posting checks

We check claims, usage rights, ad labels, brand, language, safe areas on screen, captions, previews, links, account permissions and whether files have finished processing on the platform.

Plan for comments, corrections and escalation

We set up a way to send useful questions, doubts, support requests, risks, corrections and removal requests to the right person, with a named owner and a time to respond.

Aa

Results by group and sales influence

We compare groups of posts by series, message, format and audience, looking at meaningful responses, what people did on your website and the business results you accept as real.

Posting calendar for each channel

We map what goes out on each channel and when, around your launches, seasons and events, and set how often each account posts, so your team always knows what is coming next and nothing important is missed.

Why Softscotch

Know what we will make, why it belongs and who approves it

Every piece of content is linked to what your audience needs, an approved fact about your business, a channel, a format, the person in charge, a decision on usage rights and a file that is ready to publish.

Decisions are agreed before we make anything

Every brief and every spin-off piece has a purpose, an audience, a source, a claim, a format, a destination link and a rule for what counts as finished before the work grows.

Each platform's own rules stay in view

Image shapes, caption fields, labels, link options, how posts look in preview, who has permission to publish and whether uploads processed correctly are all spelled out, instead of being hidden behind a one-size-fits-all posting process.

Rights and ad labels stay with every file

The source, license, permission, any paid or personal link to the brand (which must be disclosed), proof for claims, edit history and expiry date stay attached through every version until it goes live.

Automated steps can always be checked

Finding topics, turning speech into text, drafting, resizing and scheduling all use approved material and exclusions, with a person reviewing the work, a record of versions, ongoing monitoring and a way to undo changes.

We judge quality by more than surface numbers

Meaningful comments, saves that show real interest, useful replies, what people did on your website, influence on sales and real sales are reported separately from reach, views and simple likes.

Your working plan still works after handover

Editable source files, groupings, templates, records of decisions, reply rules, owners, signs that content needs a refresh and known limits all stay usable after we deliver.

Service decisions

The 36 decisions behind social media content that is ready to post

How we compare

A clearly defined content package, not an endless number of posts

The difference is a clear audience and purpose for each channel, approved themes, a named list of what you get, files you can use, notes on rights and accessibility, and a clear decision on what to publish or improve.

The risk of using a different agency for everything
  • Starts with how often to post
  • Copies whatever is trending
  • Uses one caption everywhere
  • Treats usage rights as a folder of images
  • Adds ad labels after review
  • Resizes one main design for every channel
  • Schedules posts without previewing them on the platform
  • Reports likes and views only
  • Leaves comments sitting on the platform
  • Keeps only the final exported files
vs
Softscotch
  • Starts with what your audience needs to know
  • Checks a trend's source and relevance before using it
  • Writes for each platform's own fields and audience
  • Carries permission through every version
  • Plans ad labels into the brief from the start
  • Sets the order, shape and safe areas for each platform
  • Checks previews, permissions and that the live post matches
  • Separates meaningful responses from proof of real demand
  • Sends comments to the right owner and into future briefs
  • Keeps editable source files and a record of every decision

Ethical, transparent, always on

One accountable team, strictly white-hat (only methods search engines and platforms allow), no shortcuts and no surprises. Support whenever you need it.

One plan, full-stack access

One Softscotch plan gives you access to the full service stack, coordinated around your priorities.

You do not need a separate agency or retainer for every channel. Your plan can draw from search, paid media, web, ecommerce, outreach, automation, lead generation, messaging, content, creative and operations. The agreed scope sets what is active, in what order and at what capacity.

Pricing approach

One price for everything, not a stack of separate retainers.

You get one price for your whole marketing, not a separate retainer for every service. SEO, paid ads, your website, automations, cold email and newsletters, we run all of it as a single scope, so you get the most result for what you pay. Agencies sell each of these on its own, so the invoice climbs whether or not that line drives a single lead.

Bought separately, service by service

A different agency or retainer for each service. The bill stacks up fast, and keeps climbing whether or not each one moves a single lead.

All of it, one scope

We run your whole marketing as one engagement, so you get the most result for what you pay, not a pile of disconnected invoices.

  • Paid ads across Google and Meta
  • Automations, cold email and newsletters
  • WordPress build, setup and ongoing care

Content needsHow much new writing, rewriting and production the plan calls for.
Build complexityYour website platform (CMS, the system you edit your site in), your other tools and how involved the changes are to make.

Questions, answered

Social media content questions to ask before we start

These answers explain what content is included, what we need from you, approvals, usage rights, accessibility, timing, who publishes, costs and the limits on results.

Filter
What is included in your social media content service?

The agreed work can include checking your audience, channels and source material; planning content themes and recurring series; a posting calendar for each channel; building proof packs and handling usage rights; making content for each platform; review, accessibility and pre-posting checks; a plan for comments, corrections and escalation; and a report on results by group and sales influence. Your proposal names what we need from you, who owns each part, what you get, how we check it and what is not included.

When is social media content creation the right service for you?

It is a good fit when your business has useful knowledge and proof, but your posts feel random, shorter spin-off pieces lose their meaning, usage rights are unclear, comments don't shape what you post next, or you can't link reach to real interest from good-fit customers.

What access and information do you need from us?

We need access to your current accounts and user roles, exports of your content and analytics, any audience research, source material, brand rules, claims and the proof behind them, licenses and model releases for images or videos, customer permission, current campaigns, the pages posts link to, comments, your escalation policy and the names of your reviewers.

What do you look at to check the facts and rules?

We check the current FTC (Federal Trade Commission, the US consumer protection agency) guidance on ad labels and reviews, official guidance on copyright permission and fair use, each platform's own posting rules, how your live accounts behave, proof packs, rights records, typical posts, comments, linked pages and analytics for groups of posts.

How do you work out the starting point?

We list your audiences, channels, series, posts, formats, source material, claims, usage rights, labels, linked pages, comments, account roles, analytics settings and past decisions, then trace a sample of published posts back to their original source.

How do you tell busy activity apart from real business value?

We keep reach, meaningful responses, saves that show real interest, useful comments, completed replies, what people did on your website, influence on sales and sales you accept as real in separate columns, broken down by audience, message, series and format.

Can you run fair tests?

Yes, once the facts, usage rights, ad labels, accessibility and platform requirements are settled, and only one thing changes at a time, such as the opening line, the order of slides or scenes, the format, the audience or the action we ask for, so the result is clear and safe to act on.

Do the numbers inside a platform prove our content caused extra sales?

No. Attribution (how a platform or analytics tool gives credit for a sale) follows that tool's own rules. Proving content caused extra sales that would not have happened anyway needs a fair comparison group, enough data, control over overlap between channels and an honest statement of how certain the result is.

Do automatic suggestions decide what we post next?

No. Platform suggestions and automatic reports are treated as dated inputs, not orders. A named person checks the proof, limits, usage rights and how relevant the idea is to your business before anything is approved.

Do you change our live accounts while you're reviewing them?

Not without your approval. While we review, we only look and don't change anything where possible. Posting, moderating comments, account permissions, live templates, labels, ad disclosures and connections between tools are only changed after agreed tests and with your permission to go live.

Can you guarantee a platform will approve, show or spread our content?

No. Each platform controls access, formats, its own reviews, who sees posts, how posts are ranked and how rules are enforced, and it can change any of this without notice. We check what each platform supports at the time we do the work.

Who makes legal, privacy, permission and rights decisions?

You do. Your business keeps the final say on legal, privacy, customer permission, usage rights, claims and ad label decisions. Softscotch writes down how these decisions fit into the work and only carries out instructions you have approved.

What does the report keep separate?

The report keeps apart how many people the platform showed your posts to, meaningful responses, the status of comments, what people did on your website, signs that content helped a sale along, sales signals, double counting between channels and the known limits of measurement, for each group of posts.

What can the results not prove?

The results cannot guarantee how many people see your posts, prove that someone who viewed a post actually paid attention, turn a platform's credit for a sale into proof of extra sales, make up for usage rights you don't have, or show that content alone created your revenue.

What work is not part of this service?

Full graphic design, photography, video production, daily community management (replying to comments and messages), paid promotion, building website pages, technical analytics setup and legal advice stay with their own specialists unless they are added to your scope separately.

Can you guarantee results from our social media content?

No. Softscotch is responsible for the agreed research, the work itself, the checks and the report. Results also depend on the platforms, your data, customer demand, how your business runs and market conditions, which we don't control.

How long does the first round of work take?

The twelve-step plan above is an example, not a fixed schedule. Real timing depends on how quickly we get access, the quality of your proof, how much content is being made, platform reviews, your approvals and how long we need to watch results before making a sound decision.

How is your social media content service priced?

The price depends on the platforms we confirm, the records to manage, the number of versions, production work, quality checks, reporting and handover. Your proposal states our assumptions and what is and isn't included before work begins.
