Link Building Services: Earned links from real websites
Relevant links from real websites, earned through useful content, real news and honest outreach.
We'll reply with a written proposal: the work, what we need from you and an estimated timeline.
Why your link building isn't working
Many businesses have paid for links before and seen nothing, or worse. The links came from junk sites, vanished after a few months or had nothing to do with the business. These are the problems we see most often.
Links bought from junk sites
Cheap link packages often come from private blog networks (fake sites built to sell links) or sites with no real readers. Google tends to ignore these links, and at worst they can lead to a penalty.
Links that disappear
Paid placements get removed, sites shut down and pages get deleted. Nobody checks, so the links you paid for quietly vanish.
Links that have nothing to do with you
A dentist linked from a gambling blog, or a roofer from a celebrity gossip site. Links from unrelated sites send no real visitors and look unnatural to Google.
Nothing worth linking to
Writers link to useful sources: original data, clear guides, expert views and helpful tools. If your site only has sales pages, there is little for anyone to cite.
Old link problems nobody has checked
Past suppliers may have built risky links, used the same keyword-stuffed link text again and again, or joined link swap schemes. New work sits on top of old risk.
No idea which links helped
Reports list link counts and tool scores but never show which pages the links supported, whether they are still live or whether anything changed.
What our link building services include
Link building services help other websites link to yours. A backlink (a link from another website to yours) works a bit like a recommendation: it sends visitors and helps Google judge which sites are trusted on a topic. Links are only one of many things Google looks at, and they only help when they are earned, relevant and real. We earn them through digital PR (getting your business into the news), expert comments for writers, useful content worth citing, and outreach to sites that already mention you or link to pages that no longer work.
Eight areas of work take you from checking the links you already have, through creating something worth linking to and contacting the right people, to checking every new link and reporting what it did. Your plan lists which methods, pages and timing are included.
Backlink audit before we build
We review the links you already have, flag risky or unnatural ones, find lost links worth recovering and set a clear starting point before any new outreach begins.
Competitor link gaps and target pages
We look at which relevant sites link to your competitors but not to you, and choose the pages on your site that most deserve support, such as key service or product pages.
Linkable content and assets
We create things worth citing: original data studies, clear guides, checklists, simple tools and infographics, built around topics your industry's writers already cover.
Digital PR and expert comments
We turn your news, data and expertise into stories and quotes for journalists and writers. When they choose to use them, they often link to you as the source.
Unlinked brand mentions
We find sites that already mention your business, products or people without a link, and politely ask the writer to add one where it helps their readers.
Broken-link and resource outreach
We find links on relevant sites that point to pages that no longer work, then suggest your matching page as a useful replacement. We also suggest your best guides to sites that list helpful resources.
Local citations, partners and community links
For local businesses, we fix your business listings (citations) and help earn links from local press, associations, suppliers, partners and community groups you already work with.
Link checks, monitoring and reporting
We check every new link, watch whether it stays live, follow up on lost links and report which pages each link supports, alongside rankings, visits and leads.
What makes a good link: the checks we run on every site
One link from a respected, relevant website is worth more than hundreds from sites nobody reads. Before we contact any site, we check it against these standards. Tool scores such as Domain Rating are made by SEO software companies, not Google, so we treat them as a rough guide only.
Relevant to your business
The site and the page cover your industry, your topic or your local area, so the link makes sense to a real reader.
A real site with real readers
The site publishes original work, has genuine visitors and isn't built only to sell links. We check this by hand, not just with tool scores.
Placed by an editor, in the content
The link sits inside a real article because a writer chose it, not in a footer, a sidebar, a comment or a page full of links.
Natural link wording
The clickable words describe the page honestly, often your brand name. We never ask for the same keyword-stuffed link text again and again.
Labeled where it should be
If a link comes from a paid sponsorship or an advert, it should carry a sponsored label. That still brings visitors and trust, just not ranking credit, and it keeps you inside Google's rules.
Points to a page that deserves it
Every link supports a useful page on your site, so visitors who click find what they expected and have a clear next step.
How we build links, step by step: seven stages
Each stage shows what we check, what we do, what you approve and how we confirm it worked. We keep what we can control, such as the quality of the outreach, separate from what we can't, such as whether an editor decides to link.
Backlink audit and starting point
We review the links pointing to your site today, so new work builds on a clean base.
Google says most sites never need to use its disavow tool (a way to ask Google to ignore certain links). We only suggest it when there is a manual action or clear evidence of many spammy links you created.
Target pages and competitor link gaps
We decide which of your pages most need support and where relevant links are realistically available.
A link gap list is a list of opportunities, not a shopping list. Many sites that link to competitors will never link to you, and that is fine.
Linkable content and assets
We plan and create content that writers and site owners want to link to because it helps their readers.
Content marketing for link building only works when the content is genuinely useful. A thin blog post with a few keywords rarely earns a link.
Digital PR and expert comments
We pitch your stories, data and experts to journalists and writers who cover your industry or area.
Journalists decide what they publish and whether they link. We never pay for coverage presented as news, and we can't promise any specific publication.
Unlinked mentions and broken-link outreach
We find places where a link would naturally help readers, then ask politely.
These requests work because they help the site owner: a missing source or a broken link is a problem for them too. We never offer payment for the link.
Local citations, partners and community links
For businesses that serve a local area, we focus on links and listings that local customers actually see.
If you pay to sponsor an event or group, any link they give you should be labeled as sponsored. It still brings local trust and visitors, just not ranking credit.
Quality checks, monitoring and reporting
We check every new link, keep watching it and report what it supports in plain words.
A single link rarely explains a ranking change. We show links, rankings, visits and leads side by side, and we're honest about what we can and can't connect.
What changes after the first link building cycle
First we find out which links you already have, which ones carry risk and which pages most need support.
- Unknown link historyPast suppliers, bought links and link swaps are often undocumented, so nobody knows the risk.
- No content to citeThe site has sales pages but little that a writer would want to link to.
- Link counts, not resultsReports show totals and tool scores, not which pages were helped or which links still exist.
The audit is done, target pages are chosen, the first asset or story is live and outreach is running.
- Clean starting pointRisky links are flagged, lost links are listed and Google's penalty notices are checked.
- Something worth linking toA data study, guide or expert story is published and approved by you.
- Honest outreach runningPersonal pitches, mention requests and broken-link suggestions go to relevant sites only.
New links are checked, watched and tied to the pages they support, and the results shape the next round.
- Checked live linksEach new link has its site, page, wording, date and live status recorded.
- Pages that earn trustYour key pages gain relevant links from real sites in your industry or area.
- A clear next planWhat earned links and what didn't guides the next stories, assets and outreach.
Link building for your type of business
A plumber, a law firm, an online store and a software company earn links in very different places. Local news and partners matter most for some. Industry press, research and useful tools matter most for others. We fit the methods to your business and your rules.
Home services and trades
Plumbers, roofers, HVAC and cleaning firms earn trust from local sources more than national press.
Clinics and healthcare practices
Health content must be accurate and reviewed, and patient privacy (HIPAA, the US health privacy law) must never be put at risk. We work with your compliance team.
Law firms
Lawyer advertising rules (ABA Model Rules 7.1 to 7.3 and state bar rules) shape what a firm can say in public. We work with your own legal team on approvals.
Real estate agents and brokerages
Local market knowledge is valuable to reporters and readers. Wording must follow Fair Housing rules.
Online stores
Product and category pages rarely earn links on their own. Guides, data and gift or buying advice do.
B2B and professional services
Business buyers trust industry press, research and expert views. Your know-how is the best link asset you have.
Software and SaaS companies
Software companies can earn links with useful free tools, templates, original data and integration partners.
Restaurants and hospitality
Local food writers, event listings, tourism sites and community groups are the most natural sources.
Financial services and insurance
Financial and insurance claims follow strict rules, so every quote and data point needs approval from your compliance team.
Nonprofits and charities
Partners, sponsors, press and supporters often mention nonprofits without linking. That is an easy place to start.
Schools and training providers
Schools and training centers have expertise, events and data that local press and resource pages value.
Agencies (white label link building)
Agencies can offer our earned link building to their own clients under their brand, through our white label SEO service.

How long link building takes: your first 12 weeks
The backlink audit and plan usually take two to three weeks once we have your access and input. The first content or story is often ready in weeks three to six, with outreach starting soon after. Editors decide if and when they link, and Google takes time to notice new links, so changes in rankings usually take months and can't be promised.

KPI steady link growthThe link building methods we use, and the ones we refuse
Google's spam policies say that links made mainly to push rankings up are link spam. That includes buying or selling links that pass ranking credit, large link swaps, automated link tools, keyword-stuffed links in articles spread across many sites, and links from low-quality directories, comments or widgets. Paid links are allowed when they are labeled with a rel=sponsored or rel=nofollow tag (a small code note that tells Google not to count the link for ranking). Google may ignore spammy links, lower a site's rankings or apply a manual action (a penalty set by a Google reviewer). The left column shows what Google warns against. The right column shows what we do instead.
- Sells links by the piece from a price list
- Pays for links that pass ranking credit without a sponsored label
- Uses private blog networks and link farms
- Swaps links with other sites at scale
- Uses automated tools to create links
- Repeats keyword-stuffed link text in articles across many sites
- Buys links from low-quality directories and bookmark sites
- Drops links in forum comments, footers and widgets
- Promises a set number of high-authority links each month
- Reports link counts and tool scores only
- Prices by campaign or monthly program, never per link
- Earns links editors choose to give, and labels any paid link
- Only contacts real sites with real readers
- Builds links from genuine partners, not swap schemes
- Writes every pitch personally, for a real person
- Lets link wording stay natural, often just your brand name
- Fixes the business listings customers actually use
- Earns links inside real articles and resource pages
- Is honest that editors, not us, decide whether to link
- Reports each link with its page, status and the page it supports

Link building services FAQs
These answers cover Google's link rules, paid links, what makes a good link, timing, approvals, lost links, local links, AI search, agencies and pricing.
What do your link building services include?
The work can include a backlink audit, choosing target pages, competitor link gap research, linkable content such as data studies and guides, digital PR and expert comments, unlinked mention requests, broken-link and resource outreach, local citations and partner links, and link monitoring and reports. Your plan sets out which methods and pages are included.
Is buying backlinks against Google's rules?
Buying links that pass ranking credit is against Google's spam policies. Paying for a link is only allowed when the link carries a rel=sponsored or rel=nofollow label, which tells Google not to count it for ranking. Google may ignore bought links or, in serious cases, apply a manual action that lowers your rankings. We earn links instead of buying them.
What makes a good backlink?
A good link comes from a real, relevant site with genuine readers, sits inside an article because a writer chose it, uses natural wording and points to a useful page. Tool scores such as Domain Rating come from SEO software companies, not Google, so we use them only as a rough guide.
How many links do I need, and how fast should I get them?
There is no magic number. It depends on your competitors, your market and the quality of the links. A few relevant links from respected sites can matter more than many weak ones. We focus on steady, natural growth rather than sudden bursts, and we never promise a set number of links.
How long until links affect my rankings?
It often takes several months. Editors publish on their own schedule, Google needs time to find and assess new links, and links are only one of many ranking signals. We report links, rankings and visits separately so you can see progress without overstating cause and effect.
Do I approve the work before anything goes out?
Yes. You approve the target pages, the list of sites we contact, every quote and claim, and any content before it is published. Editors decide whether and how they link, so we can't approve the final article for them, but nothing goes out in your name without your sign-off.
What happens if a link gets removed?
We re-check links regularly. If a good link disappears, we find out why and, where it makes sense, politely ask the site to restore it or suggest an updated page. Lost links are shown in your report. Because we don't sell links by the piece, there is no per-link replacement promise.
Do you check my existing backlinks first?
Yes. Every program starts with a backlink audit to spot risky links, lost links and any Google penalty notice. Google says most sites never need to disavow (ask Google to ignore) links, so we only suggest it when there is a manual action or clear evidence of many spammy links.
Is link building the same as digital PR?
Not quite. Digital PR means getting your business into the news with stories, data and expert comments. It is one of the best ways to earn links, and it also builds your brand. Link building is the wider program, which also includes mention requests, broken-link outreach, local links and monitoring.
Do you do local link building for local businesses?
Yes. For local businesses we fix key business listings (citations) and earn links from local press, associations, suppliers, partners and community groups. If a link comes from a paid sponsorship, it should be labeled as sponsored. It still brings local trust and visitors.
Will links help me show up in AI answers such as ChatGPT or Google's AI results?
They can help. Mentions and links on trusted sites are part of how AI tools learn what a business is known for. But no one can promise that an AI tool will mention or recommend you, and we don't claim to control it.
Do you offer link building for agencies?
Yes. Agencies can offer our earned link building to their own clients under their brand through our white label SEO service, with branded reports and no contact with your clients unless you ask.
How much do link building services cost?
We price link building as a monthly program or a set campaign, not per link. Cost depends on how competitive your market is, how much content or research we create, how many pages need support, the amount of PR outreach and whether a cleanup is needed first. Request a link building plan and we'll send a scoped proposal.
